Photo Night Live

This post might seem like a bit of a plug.... but hey, I guess it is! I wanted to show you guys an online tv show that I watch every week. Even if I miss an episode, I catch up by watching it all at once- it's kinda addictive like that!

Photo Night Live is, as I said, an online tv show, for photographers. I believe it is aimed at all photographers, but really it is a great resource for emerging photographers and those that want to learn.

Ross Dean, who created and runs Photo Night Live, brings onto the show an emerging photographer and an established professional photographer to talk about a particular topic. The topic of the week tends to be something that the featured emerging photographer wants to talk about, as a way of helping them. Then, essentially, the three of them chat for 30-40 minutes! It is fantastic! Even if you don't want to learn anything it's a great way just to hear advice from such amazing photographers. In particular, I love the fact that you now know what their voice sounds like- you know this person. You wouldn't get that from a magazine interview. You get to see them, relaxed, informal, hear them, see them. Like I said- it's fantastic.

So, I decided to post up one of my favourite videos so far, and please, if you are interested, head on over to the site and watch an episode or two! It's become a really interesting tool and source of inspiration for me- and I love to watch them repeatedly to drum ideas into my head.
