South African artist Pierneef is new to me, although apparantly (according to Miss Moss) he is a legendary master. Regardless, I can't stop looking at his paintings.
I love the dark, moody skies...
and the colourful, wild landscapes.
But what I love most of all, is how the backgrounds are out of focus, almost as if they were photographs....
